- Difficulty: Easy
- Only cycling 2 spells
- High excess mana
- 5 mantle charges
- Is flying
- Low hp sustain
- No mythic boots, infinite tierdrop ring, upper scream surfing.

ETWFA Monk Scream Upper Charge Convergence
- Difficulty: Easy
- Defensive cycle
- Very good crowd control
- Good ehp
- High ehp sustain
- Rhythm of the Seasons offhand for emergencies and allies
- Only spells, no melees
- Generalist on scream: Cycle requires some practice
- Mana problems when you mess up the cycle
- Inexpensive
- No mythic boots
- If you don't have skill point tomes assign less skill points into strength, you can't use Rhythm of the Seasons until you have tomes.

ETWFA Monk Upper Charge Scream Idol
- Difficulty: Very Easy
- Defensive cycle
- Very good crowd control
- High ehp
- Very high ehp sustain
- A lot of excess mana, no worries when messing up your cycle
- Generalist on upper or scream: Cycle requires some practice
- Very expensive
- Mythic boots: Resurgence
- Make sure you have a -3 tier Ataraxy
- Get worse mana rolls if you want to save money, the build only needs 40 mr to sustain upper charge scream (if you never mess up)
Spellsteal / Mixed Mana Builds

ETFA Monk Bash Charge Scream Hero
- Difficulty: Medium to hard
- Very good crowd control
- Good ehp
- Very good mobility
- Generalist on bash: Cycle requires some practice
- Mana problems when you mess up the cycle
- Cycle requires you to stay close to mobs in order to hit them
- Requires you to melee every now and then (not often, it nearly sustains with mana regen)
- Mythic boots: Revenant
- Take speed surges with you for stairs.
- More offensive build variation: Replace Dark Shroud with Leictrach Makani and either replace Soarfae with Bete Noire and the rings with double Ingress or replace Soarfae with Conduit of Spirit and keep the rings the same.
Melee Builds
- Since melee generally has significantly worse crowd control and mobility than spell it is not recommended for lootrunning.

- Difficulty: Very easy
- Very tanky
- Very easy cycle (a few charges, then one scream)
- Curse access
- Very low dps (untomed 10.3k charge 16.8k scream)

- Difficulty: Hard
- High walk speed
- Mantle
- Provoke
- Very high dps
- Very glassy when mantle is down
- No stronger mantle
- Mythic boots: Warchief
- Can replace precise strikes, intoxicating blood, armour breaker, blood pact and below with WA mastery, half-moon swipe, radiant devotee, tempest, spirit of the rabbit and radiance.
- Replace Kaze with Raging Wind for double mythic weapon tomes.
Elemental abbreviations (ETW, TFA, ...)
- To easily find out which skill points a build is using we use letters:
- E for strength (Earth)
- T for dexterity (Thunder)
- W for intelligence (Water)
- F for defence (Fire)
- A for agility (Air)
- They always are written in the same order as the skill points in the compass: ETWFA
- For example ETW is a build using strength, dexterity and intelligence.
- It is irrelevant which elemental damage you deal. If you use a weapon that does ETW (Earth Thunder Water) damage in an ETWF build it's still an ETWF build. Similarly, you do not have to deal rainbow damage in an ETWFA aka rainbow build.
Too many skill points!
- When a build says it requires too many skill points that means you have to get those skill points from tomes (fabled weapon mastery tomes).
Upper scream surfing / Upper bash surfing
- Take aerodynamic charge and whirlwind strike
- Initialize your cycle with upper charge
- Cycle upper scream / upper bash (or at really high cps upper scream bash) until the fight is over.
Aerodynamic charge doesn't end until you touch the ground and whirlwind strike prevents you from touching the ground since it always pushes you up. Because of this you can constantly fly with aerodynamic charge's speed while cycling upper and either scream or bash.
Crafted tierdrop ring
- These rings can be used to get super slow attack speed which is needed for effortless mana steal and life steal usage as well as easy powder special charging.
- You only use them for their negative attack speed tiers and negative stats don't decay on crafteds, so you always keep them at 0 durability, never repair them.
